About Our Jewelry

Sorrelli jewelry is hand crafted from genuine semi-precious stones and high quality Austrian crystals. You will find an abundance of amazing faceted and iridescent crystals in the majority of our designs. We also use semi-precious cabochons like desert jasper, reconstructed turquoise, freshwater pearls, and tiger’s eye. Designs are supplemented with glass cabochons and man-made stones. Each color collection features a different mixture of semi-precious and synthetic cabochons and crystals.

Available Metal Finishes

As you can see, many of our finishes are nickel-free! Please note that our Monster earring backs are Steel (AS) and Brass (AG). The antique gold earring backs are best for sensitive ears. All post earrings are surgical steel, and french wire earrings are made of the same materials as the earring finish (the part that goes in the ear is not a different metal).

The base metal of most Sorrelli designs is brass. Each Sorrelli piece is plated in either an Antique Gold-tone, Antique Silver-tone, Bright Gold-tone, Bright Silver-tone, or Gunmetal finish. The Antique Gold-tone plating is a brass-based finish. The Antique Silver-tone finish is a metal alloy, primarily nickel. The Bright Gold-tone finish is a 10K gold plating. Finally, the Gunmetal finish is a mixture of nickel and zinc. All post earrings are surgical steel. For customers with sensitive ears, we recommend earrings with posts instead of french wires, as all french wires are plated and may irritate customers with metal allergies.
